I'm a playwright, director, actor, producer & icon - though, for the most part, I'm a playwright. I'm pretty much down for whatever whenever however with whomever, so let's just make it happen.
I was born in Mobile, Alabama & raised in Memphis, Tennessee.
I am the youngest of 6 kids. I'm a proud uncle of 12. I have been an uncle since since I was in kindergarten. I'm fantastic at the job.
My full length plays include ISLAND PEOPLE, THE HOUSE OF BABY ALLEN a play for the preacher's son, WHAT'S WEST OF PROHIBITION (semifinalist, 2015 O'Neill Theatre Conference) and LYMPH NODES WE LOVED TOO MUCH TO LET GO.
My short plays include THE WHITE CASTLE (2015 Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Festival), HEY! I HEARD YOU WERE A WILD ONE (Tiny Rhino), ALL MY EXES LIVE IN TEXAS (Cue for Passion Collective), GOD OF PCB 2009 and THE BANQUET TABLE.
I'm a current member of Musical Theatre Factory's ongoing writers group, where I'm working on a new musical PARIS GIRLS with composer Andrew J. Hanley.
I have had the immense pleasure of working with such companies as: Page 73, New Dramatists, The Working Theatre, The Flea Theater, The Amoralists & LCT3, among others.
I received a BFA from NYU's department of dramatic writing in 2014. I mostly studied playwriting and gender theory.
